Unsuccsessfull Reinstallation

I just bought PT4 and installed it on my PC.
Everything looked fine. Than I got a lot of things exported from a colleague and I thought, that I imported everything fine.
After running a first session I saw today, that something is wrong. I wanted to review my hands and when I was clicking on the shown hands to replay them, I got completly different hands from an other plattform...so something is wrong.
As it was just one session, I thought, that I just can remove PT4 and install it again. After doing this, there where still "old strange things" in the software. I´ve read, that I have to remove postgres sql - so I removed it. After installing PT again, he said, he cant work, because this database is missing. So I installed this sql again manually and installed PT4 an other time - but still it is not running... I was wondering, why the PT software didn´t install this software for himself, as he did 2 days before?? .So now I really don´t know, what to do. Can you please help me?

When you reinstalled PostgreSQL did it say it installed successfully at the end? What version of PostgreSQL did you install? Anything above version 12 isn't supported by PokerTracker 4. Please manually download and install PostgreSQL v12 from here and for the two password boxes use 'dbpass' (no quotes) which is what PokerTracker 4 uses by default. If that installs successfully try starting PokerTracker 4 again although you may need to create a new database to allow it to connect. If PokerTracker 4 still cannot connect then start it via 'Windows Start Menu -> All Programs -> PokerTracker 4 -> PokerTracker 4 (Logging Enabled)' and then attach your log file to a Support Ticket where a technician can review the log file and advise you accordingly:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs\PokerTracker4.log

To access the log file open File Explorer in Windows and enter the following in the address bar:

%localappdata%\PokerTracker 4\Logs

The file we need will be the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder.

Hello Flag_Hippo,

thank you for your help.
I tried to do this again. Everything was looking fine. I installed PostgrSQL 12.17.1 - there was no 12 without extension.
Than a "Stack Builder" Programm opened and I was looking inside - it says, that PostgresSQL 12 is already installed. It didn´t ask me for any password.
So i reinstalled PT4. Thist time it was quick an opened like it should do.
BUT: After importing some handy from GG the same problem began: I opened a Hand, where I was dealt AA and when I clicked in the hand or in the replayer it showed me a completely different hand from an other player with A4.
PT4 didn´t ask for my registration code and already had my PS Player Name inside.
So still something is very wrong.
How can I uninstall definilty everything from PT4 - that there is nothing left?
I don´t know, where this problem is.
As I was installing it first - everything went fine till I started to import data from an other tracker.
Isn´t it possible to get back to "preinstallation" and start everything from the beginning?
I had contacted the PT Support already, but there is no response from them till now....

I really don´t know what to do....I am no programmer....just want to use the software... ??

Please help me :) :(

Hello again,

now I think I did it.
I uninstalled everything again. Then I looked for datas and folders, which where still remaining on my PC and I erased them all manually....and installed PT4 again - and then the normal installation process started and was asking for my registration and installed this PostgreSQL for itself.
I think now everything is running like it should....
