Mac installer rebooting in a loop

PokerTracker and PostgreSQL Installation

1) Download the Full Installation of PokerTracker 3
* Don't forget to read the Licensing Agreement and check the agreement checkbox.
2) Double click the .dmg file and this will mount the installer image.
3) Double click "PokerTracker 3 Full.mpkg" to start the installer.
4) If the installer tells you to reboot, then double click and run the installer a second time after the reboot.

It asks me to reboot because settings have changed but then says the installer stopped the reboot and that I need to reboot manually.
I Do it but still when I relaunch the installer same problem happens.

Im running mountain lion on a brand new laptop bought this morning.

Please read this tutorial about installing on Mountain Lion, although this sounds like you have already been able to run the installer.

When it asks you to reboot, are you able to ignore that and continue the installer? You should only need to reboot once.

I can run the installer smoothly here is how it happens:

- I right click open
- launch the installer
- it says the installer will restart
- Introduction -> continue
- License -> continue + agree
- installation -> install + admin password
- When it finishes it must restart your computer -> continue
... Then here after one second it prompts:

"Reboot Required
System settings required for proper operation of PokerTracker 3 have been changed.

Do not run PokerTracker 3 until after your macintosh reboots"

I press Reboot

"The application Installer canceled restart
To try again, quit installer and choose Restart from the Apple menu."

I press OK

It then says "The installation has failed"

And the if I ask show error it says unknown error.

Of course Ive tried to reboot and do it again but the same error always prompts

Can you verify that you have downloaded and are using the 3.13.9 BETA installer?

Despite finding several things to repair, the problem is still the same :(

Open up Applications -> Utilities -> Console. After running the installer do you see errors in the console? If so, could you paste them here please?
