mac support for Winning Poker Network/America's Card Room

Postby miconian » Fri Oct 02, 2015 5:46 pm

As of today, America's Cardroom has a mac client.

Excited that I could finally use PT4 (I live in New York, I have a mac, and have been playing at betonline), I paid for a month of PT4.
I was soon disappointed to see that the setup interface does not even give the Winning Poker Network as an option, even though PT is known to support that network.

I'm assuming that you don't have the option enabled on the mac PT client because ACR didn't work with macs anyway.
But now that has changed, so I hope you will add the option.

If that is not on the roadmap for the very near future, I hope I can get a refund on the PT4 subscription I just paid for. :)

There is no recurring monthly fee for PokerTracker 4 and you would not have to make any more payments in the future unless you wanted to upgrade it at some point e.g. Small Stakes -> Full Stakes. The only products we have with a recurring subscription are TableTracker and Table Ninja II.

Correct. This Mac client is still in Beta so it would help to know if the client has the option to save hand histories. If so do the hands import via "Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk"? If you can open a Support Ticket and report this I can then forward this information to the development team.

There is a considerable amount of work and testing involved in adding support for any new client. As you have a ticket in our system for this issue you will be notified when a version is released that contains this support.

Please enable logging via "Configure -> Options -> Logging Enabled", restart PokerTracker 4 and then reproduce this and report it via our support system along with your PokerTracker4.log file so that we can see what is going on.
