Aliases in Reports

When I create a report by player, the aliases that I have created are not used in the report. Instead, each individual player is listed. How can I create a report that uses the aliases instead?

I cannot reproduce what you are describing in a default 'All Players' report - players linked to an alias are not listed individually and are grouped on a single line with the aliased player. Do you have this issue in a default 'All Players' report?

If not have what statistics have you added to your report? Try adding/removing them one at a time so you can identify which ones are creating the additional player lines.

I've recreated the report and the issue is now gone.

After building a few more reports, I believe I've found some filters that cause this issue. Filtering by Date (using the Date dropdown box) or filtering for a number of hands played such as >20k.

I cannot reproduce this with a date filter either. If you need further assistance please open a Support Ticket with your log file and an exported report:

How do I get a log file?
I believe the issue I'm experiencing has to do with the order in which the Quick Filters are applied to the report. As another example, if I create a report, and pull in various stats, all of the alias players appear correctly. However, if I then add in a Quick Filter to filter for 3-10 players dealt into the hand, the alias players are then separated.

Enable logging in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options'.

Restart PokerTracker 4 and reproduce the issue.

Select 'File -> Open User Data Folder'.

In the window that opened go into the 'Logs' folder.

Attach the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder to a Support Ticket:

I can't locate this, so I may be mistaken, but I seem to recall communication that this issue was on the list of issues to be corrected. Is this true, and if so are there any updates? Thanks!
