hotkeys disabled

Postby desperate dan » Tue May 14, 2019 4:44 am

Using A Hud on Stars new tables seems to disable my hotkeys. Without the HUD the hotkeys work fine. What is going on here?

To get your PokerStars hotkeys working with PokerTracker 4 you need to run your PokerStars software as an administrator.

Hi
Have just upgraded to Windows 10 from windows 7 and am having the same problem again. Pokerstars is set to run as administrator, but hotkeys are not working.

This works the same on Windows 10 - can you confirm that you see the User Account Control window when you run PokerStars?

No. When I open PT4 I get the UAC window asking "Do you want this app to make changes to your device?" Is that the one you mean?

Just to add to my previous post. It's a little pop-up window, if that's what you are referring to.

Yes, that's the one. You need to configure PokerStars to run as administrator manually - PT4 does that automatically.

I think you misunderstand my post. I have configured Pokerstars to run as administrator manually. The UAC pop-up occurs whenever I open PT4, even when Pokerstars is not running.

To add: The UAC pop-up is only occuring when I open PT4. It has nothing to do with Pokerstars.

Yes, that is expected.
However, you also need to see the UAC message when you run PokerStars. If you're not seeing that then it isn't configured to run as administrator correctly.
