I want to move pokerstars to a seperate hard drive from PT4 and the hands are still getting stored on the drive that pt4 is on however the hud doesn't work and in the import options pt4 says pokerstars isn't installed. I then moved pokerstars back but it still wont work.

Was there a reason for the move other than to save hard drive space? PokerStars installation is actually fairly small but if there were other concerns that might help me advise you better.

I'm studying and like to keep all my games and stuff on a seperate hard drive and get a relative to hide it in study time

You should just need to pick that drive as an installation location and that should be it. You can configure it once installed per our
PokerStars Configuration Guide.
