cant connect to database and forgot sql password

Hello get this error message.
An error occurred in an internal database import thread.
Exception: Unable to connect to database: PokerTracker 4 Database
Also I forgot my Postgress password

If you haven't already; reboot your computer - that will often get PostgreSQL working again.

If not, click 'Start' and type 'services' and open the Services window.
Is PostgreSQL in the list?
Can you start it?

It isn't there I can log on to pgadmin 3 but postgres file is not installed i remember a while ago I tried reinstalling postgress but I forgot the password for superuser postgres and account user postgres. So I'm just stuck with the password.

Please follow the directions here to fully uninstall PostgreSQL and then you will be able to reinstall and set a new password (our default is 'dbpass'). If you reinstall the same major version that you were previously using then PostgreSQL will be able to reconnect to any existing databases.

Please note: Versions 9.1 and newer are NOT supported - our recommended version (if you don't have databases from an older version) is 9.0.

When I go into cmd and type net user postgres /delete it says System error 5 has occurred

Access is deneid.

Run cmd as administrator and then it will complete successfully.

I reinstalled it with password but when i go on to pokertacker 4 it still has the same problem An error occured in an internal database import thread.

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.
