PokerTracker 4.10.1 Release Notes - October 4, 2013

Fixed:
HUD: Improve HUD queries to add str_player_name_search to the cacheable stat list

Could you explain what this means?

Internally we changed how the player names are queried from the database for HUD queries to address issues with aliases. The change you quoted fixes a few bugs as a result of these changes.
