This is really starting to annoy me, anyone know why its happening..?

Every time I play a new session my pokertracker HUD gets stuck

The auto import page says hand observed but not imported

The only way to fix this is to force quit pokertracker and move all the hands from my import folder to my processed folder manually.

This is now happening 2-3 times per session and its doing my head in.

Please any suggestions would be great.

When you finish playing, close your poker client and click Tools -> Setup Assistant in PT4. Run through Setup Sites (clicking next a bunch) to import and move the files in your existing hand history folders. That should clear things out for now.

Going forward, make sure that when you finish your session you close your poker client first then stop Getting Hands While Playing. That will ensure if you're playing on a site which does lock files that the lock is released so that we can move things properly.

And what about all of the hands that I had to keep moving to my processed folder?

Will they be added to my results or do I have to import them manually?

I downloaded the new beta but it made me 'update the pokertracker 4 database'

This has taken 4 hours so far, is it stuck or shall I leave it overnight?

Depending on the size of your database that is possible - hopefully you let it run overnight?

I think the rule of thumb is 18 hours for every 500K Hands.

If you have a very large database and you play everday , then running a databse update on another computer is a good bet. Once completed, Backup / restore to your new computer then re-import hands missed during database update.

Yeah left it on overnight and it seems to have worked.

Will test it out later when I play some hands
