I have a dualcore 3.00ghz CPU and 4gigs of ram running Win7 64bit.
I notice that during play and hand importing my CPU and ram us is almosted maxed out. Trying to play a music vid on youtube makes it lag (Its not buffering).
Is it normal for PT4 to demand that much resource or do i have a system problem? If the latter any advice is welcome.
FWIW i just ran CCleaner and defraggler on my system.
Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't expect PT4 to max out your CPU - 'get hands while playing' is a pretty light process.
How many tables are you playing?
How big is your database?

Next time you play please attach the PokerTracker4.log file from C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\ (which you can access from the PT4 File menu) to a
Support Ticket with a link to this thread so that we can see if anything is working especially hard.

In that case it is pretty normal. You can reduce the load by changing your player groups from "Everyone" to "Everyone but Hero". That will keep PT4 from querying your session stats which will reduce the load greatly. If you want to see how you are doing for the session you can track it in the View Active Tables report.

It depends what other stuff you have running - the more things like antiviruses or other programs, or peripherals that require memory you have lying around the less you have for programs you want to run.
