Multiple HUD layouts for 'same' site

I'm having a HUD layout conflict.

I use a tool that creates hand histories for a site that doesn't natively support them. The tool creates them in the ipoker format.

I'm also playing on a normal ipoker skin.

Because both tables are 'ipoker' there is only one fixed HUD layout (for a given table size), but the seat positions and such are very different on the two sites.

Is there any way to have pokertracker treat these as separate things with individually configurable layouts?

No there is not. You'll need to use a different site if you do not want to conflict with the native iPoker configuration. An alternative option is to duplicate your HUD Profile and use the duplicate on the other site. While you will need to manually change the HUD Profile used on the table the HUD positions will be saved separately.

Can you clarify how the HUD duplication would work?

My understanding is that Pokertracker 'sees' an 8-max table on one site as the same as an 8-max table on the other site. So if I duplicated the hud and made it the default on one, wouldn't that change just be automatically applied to the other, too?

You will need to manually change the HUD Profile on those tables. When your default HUD appears on the table click the PT-icon, go to 'Change Profile' and manually load the duplicate. The HUD positions saved on the duplicate profile will be separate from your default profile.
