Filter limp+iso+call

Postby betbet73 » Sat Feb 01, 2025 7:38 pm

Good evening, how can I use poker tracker to filter the situation in which one player opens with a limp, another makes an iso and another calls in the same playing hand? Example: an early limp player, the cutoff player makes 4x and the button calls

Hello, you could use the following simple filters:
- under Hand Details, select Maximum Preflop Raise That Occurred > 2Bet (this way you won't see any 3bet+ hands)
- under Hand Details, select Preflop Limping That Occured > Exactly 1 (so there will only be 1 limper)
- under Actions and Opportunities > Preflop > Calls, select Called 2 Bet
- if you want only 1 player to call this raise, you can go to Hand Details > Number of Players > Players Seeing Flop and select Between 2 and 2

Note that the filtered hands will show Hero being the player who called the 2 bet. If you go to My Reports > Hand Report > Filters > Add New Expression Filters, and uncheck the "Filter on Active Player" option along with the above simple filters, you will see hands where any player, not only Hero, called the preflop 2-bet.

Using Expression Filters offers a more powerful way to filter for exactly what you want. See this guide for the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide for a deeper walkthrough. While the latter was written for PokerTracker 3 and the user interface is different the techniques still apply to PokerTracker 4.

And this post has more information on how the actors and aggressors strings work if you want to specify limpers and aggressors more specifically.
