Site broken too.

Postby calutaxi » Wed Jan 29, 2025 3:16 pm

PT4 completely stopped working today. Came here looking for answers, and saw multiple people having the same issue. Well I can't actually do anything because the support button given an error. Also the forums are screwed up and I'm not actually sure how I managed to be able to post this (because everything is overlapped and I couldn't find the button to make a new post)

How exactly is PokerTracker 4 not working for you? Please provide us with more details about the issue. Let us know the details of any error messages you may be receiving and if necessary attach a screenshot or two so we can see what is going on:

What error are you receiving? Please provide some more specific details and as I mentioned above you can attach a screenshot of the issue so we can see the error message.

Sorry everything is working now. So what happened was the import seemed to have gotten stuck. It was happeneing during real time import. I tried it several timea, and it kept getting stuck and PT would stop responding. I then tried to switch to manually importing it from the folder, and it was up to over 1 hour, with 0 hands imported. Because it was stuck trying to import an old HH, it wasn't fuctioning on active tables at all. I had no hud. I found a work around by deleting the HH file tht it was getting stuck on. After that it's been working fine.

So I didn't take a screenshot. The support tab was an access denied error, it was just a page with text. The forums problem was almost like a formatting error. All of the text was there, but it was kind of all on top of each other, and without spaces or anything. Everything seems to be in order now though.

Shoudl I still subit my logs via support?

If you can recover that file or if this happens again can you please attach the relevant file to a Support Ticket so we can investigate this. Thank you.

So something messed up again today. It's happening with the import. After a little bit, it's not showing all of the tables that I'm played. I tried restarting both my PC, and PT4, and PS:PA.
It's importing, but it's not importing to all the tables. On active tables it was showinng 1,2/4. All of the tables had the HUD stats working, but i'm not quite sure if they were updating right.

Also on the import log it wasn't showing any errors it seemed to be cycling 1 table at a time. I sent in a support bundle.

As another update, it's happening again today. It seems like PT is NOT moving my HH files after attempting to import. I wonder if that's causing some of the issue. It was showing something like 1300 duplicate hands on the import screen. My HH folder had about a dozen files in it. I did get the "PT has detectd a large amount of hands to import" when it did that, it imported the all and moved them. It however wasn't moving the after "get hands while playing" or "import hands from file/directory".

Hands are moved to the Processed folder only when they are imported automatically, so only when you use Get Hands While Playing, and not when using Get Hands From Disk option. Hands don't get moved automatically after clicking Stop Getting Hands button if the files are old, which likely means they weren't generated during the current live play but were already in the auto-import folders prior to playing.

Yeah I think that's where something is messing up. the hands aren't being moved after they're imported, and instead keep getting read as duplicates. During my session before I cleared that import, it kept saying X hands imported Y duplicates. The duplicate hand count on my import status (while playing) was up around 1200.
