PokerStars.net here in the USA

Postby jsimon101 » Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:49 am

I apologize if this has been discussed.

While having tables open on the play site PokerStars.net here in the USA - my HUD popped up and started taking data from the players on the table. It seems to be intermittent - and I can't quite seem to figure out how to get it to log data all the time. When I went into the client folder, I couldn't find a hand history folder nor a configuration in their software - but I would love to get this up and running because I have a home game that I would really like to get data from.

thank you

Unfortunately the PokerStars.NET client that does not allow for the saving of local hand history files unlike other PokerStars clients. The only workaround is to download and install a PokerStars client that saves hands or maybe PokerStars support could provide you with a version that does save hand history files locally.

I appreciate the response. . . well it was just weird because it was grabbing hands and the hud was popping up - I have a few tournament hand histories on there so I was really confused by this because yes, they do not allow it - so I was wondering if anyone in your camp knew anything about this?

PokerTracker 4 can import a limited number of PokerStars observed hands via the PokerTracker 4 'Memory Grabber' and this is why some data is importing. However for all of your played hands to import you will need to be using a PokerStars version that saves local hand history files and unfortunately the PokerStars.NET client does not provide this option. The only workaround is to download and install a PokerStars client that saves hands or maybe PokerStars support could provide you with a version that does save hand history files locally.
