my poker tracker disappears when playing game.

then when I try to bring up the PT4 it causes a restart and then when saying yes it states I have PT4 running - a version of PT4 is running.

I have to go into task manager and literall end task for both PT4 and PT4 HUD.

Are you minimising PokerTracker 4 and then not able to bring back the window because it is not on the taskbar? If you are not seeing PokerTracker 4 on your taskbar then check your system tray instead. There is an option to have PokerTracker 4 go to the system tray via 'Configure -> Options -> Minimize to Tray' so if you don't want that to happen turn that option off. If that is not the problem here then please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. When the issue occurs please attach your log file to a Support Ticket:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs\PokerTracker4.log

To access the log file open File Explorer in Windows and enter the following in the address bar:

%localappdata%\PokerTracker 4\Logs

The file we need will be the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder. One thing to note is that every time you close/restart PokerTracker 4 it will begin a new log so you'll want to save/send that PokerTracker4.log file before restarting PokerTracker 4 again.
