GGPoker ToS - third party software

Postby icho90 » Sun Mar 03, 2024 9:26 am

What is the situation on recent ToS update on GGPoker regarding third party tools.

https://help.ggpoker.com/article/1744-c ... are-active

Pokertracker along with HM and other tools are on this list.

Does it now mean we are not allowed to have PT4 open while playing on GG even tho PT4 doesn't work with GG while playing?

I also contacted GG support for that but I thought maybe you guys have an answer for PT4.

Cheers

We are aware of this change to GGPoker's ToS and our management team are discussing what this means for us and what, if anything, will need to change.
I can't give you a firm answer at this point but hopefully we'll have some sort of update for you in the next few days.

Chill guys, of course we all want a answer here this really affects everyone grinding multiple sites but we dealing with GG here they barely answer support emails. I highly doubt they will answer pokertracker about this in a timely fashion, I hope I am wrong. Realistically i don't know what pt4 can do, this is up to gg to change their stance on it. Even if pt4 removes the capability of importing GG hands offline, I dont think this is the issue.

A post from their reddit from GG support says its allowed if you guys remove gg support/mentions from pt4 website? Is this what its actually about? One guy says its allowed if it doesnt help any ingame decisions and if you email they say its not. Why can't we get a straight answer?

PokerTracker's support of GGPoker is in full compliance with their terms of service and is allowed. We have confirmed this with the GGPoker team.

Nice, but you mean it's allowed during playing on GG? Did they change thier policy? Or you had to make some updates? Should we turn on/off some features ?

PokerTracker does not support a HUD on GGPoker and complies with their terms of service. The only support PokerTracker offers is importing of downloaded hands from the GGPoker site once they are made available by GGPoker.
