Cant use poker tracker 4

Hey guys, whenever i try to put in my name into " <Choose New Player>" to gather my data from pokerstars and install a HUD i can use it cant find my stars accout what to do ?

Basically i bought the tracker and i cant use it ...

anyone know how to solve this, i've tried everyting, in hindsight iam new to poker tracker 4 and never had it up running so i would appreciate your help - and i would love for someone to tell me what to do if it isnt a easy fix throug discord or someting.

You will need to import some hands before you can find your name in the database.

Please read our Quick Start Guide for how to get started.
Also check out the PokerStars Configuration Guide for how to configure PokerStars to save hand histories and PT4 to import them as you play.

If there's anything in the guides you don't understand, or if you're still having problems, please post back.

I've tried everything the guide set and followed every step, and i cant figure out how to import any hands, and when i search for any players none pop up, i've even asked a friend who uses poker tracker 4 and he cant tell the problem

Have you imported any hands yet?

If you have PokerStars configured to save hand histories (as described in the PokerStars Configuration Guide) then it should be saving hand history files as you play. You can check that with Windows Explorer.

If you have hand history files then you can import them manually by clicking 'Get Hands From Disk' on the Play Poker page.
Once you've done that then you can search for your name in the player list, although it should be added automatically.

If that isn't working please tell us exactly where the problem is. For example are the hand history files being saved by PokerStars as you play? Did you find the hand history files to import when you clicked Get Hands From Disk?
