Hi, so i made a backup pf PT4 on my old computer, i have a folder PT4 backup. I went to new computer to restore it, and there is no folder..

I saved it in my documents folder. Should i just do it in PT4 file or no. Wasn't sure to do that in case i messed up or corrupted the program. Thank you

You need to transfer the backup file that was created on the old computer to the new computer. You can transfer the backup file between the computers using a USB stick/flash drive or via the cloud (Google Drive, Dropbox e.t.c.). When the backup file has been transferred to a folder on the new computer you can then run 'File -> Restore' in PokerTracker 4 and select the backup file wherever you saved it on the new computer.

Ok so i am finally transferring over the files to the database, all by hand for each file, it wouldn't do it automatically. than this error came up.
Error: This database cannot be destroyed.
Error: Unable to execute query: Fatal Error; Reason: ERROR: database "PT4 DB" is being accessed by other users DETAIL: There is 1 other session using the database. ...Skipped
wth does this mean? thank you

If you are using NoteCaddy temporarily disable it via the 'PokerTracker Apps' menu option, restart PokerTracker 4 and then try again.

So i would have to do it all one at a time by hand again? It literally took me 3 hours

Sorry was trying to reply. So i would literally have to do it by hand again one at a time? IT took me 3 hours. Is there a faster way? thanks as always

I'm not sure what you mean but if you were getting prompted to overwrite individual files such as NoteCaddy definitions then you can disable the 'Always Prompt Before Overwrite' option under the restore options.

So i did what u said to do in regards to unchecking. than after an hour and a half i got this

Did you also disable NoteCaddy as I mentioned here when you previously posted the same error? Also if you are being prompted to overwrite the existing database because the restored database has the same name then you also have the option of renaming the database before restoring.
