PT4 crashing version 4.17.4

Postby Simma13 » Sat Nov 19, 2022 3:41 pm

Hello,

I have just downloaded the latest update of pt4 version 4.17.4

Seems that the software keeps crashing when browsing stats and almost all the time if you hit the refresh button.

Anyone else having this issue, never had a problem since this update today :(

Please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce the crash and then attach your log file to a Support Ticket:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs\PokerTracker4.log

To access the log file open File Explorer in Windows and enter the following in the address bar:

%localappdata%\PokerTracker 4\Logs

The file we need will be the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder. Also every time you close/restart PokerTracker 4 it will begin a new log so you'll need to save/send the PokerTracker4.log file that's recorded the crash before restarting PokerTracker 4 again.

Same here. Auto sending all crash logs.

Update: Noticed the PT4 download page has reverted to 4.17.3, so looks like 4.17.4 has been pulled.
Just downloaded 4.17.3 and re-installed. Hopefully that's the issue resolved for now.

Yes, the development team are looking into your crash reports - thanks to anyone who submitted one. We will not be able to reply to everyone personally, but they are very useful to us and we appreciate them all.
