Starting today (July 11, 2022), PokerTracker has moved to a recurring billing model with annual Support & Maintenance. Any purchases made from this point forward will receive one FREE year of support & maintenance that will automatically renew (unless canceled) each year to continue receiving support and updates to the software.

For many years, we have resisted the industries move to a recurring billing model despite PokerTracker making the most sense to move to such a model since PT4 relies on poker sites which are constantly making changes and we subsequently must constantly release updates for PT4 to continue working on these sites. We resisted this change for so long because we simply do not like recurring billing any more than you do. In our opinion, there are far too many things that have moved to recurring billing where it makes no sense, such as software that is written once and does not require frequent updates. However, PokerTracker does not fall into that category and for us to ensure that we can continue to provide timely updates to poker sites changes as well as continue to make major improvements to the software, we must begrudgingly make the switch.

How Am I Impacted?
Existing License Holders
If you have an existing PokerTracker 4 license, your license will continue to work for the lifetime of PokerTracker 4. Once PokerTracker 5 is released, you will need to purchase a new license. Nothing will change in that regard. However, if you upgrade or add-on to your PT4 license, your license will be moved to the recurring billing model.

New Purchasers
When you purchase a PokerTracker 4 license, you will receive one year of free support and maintenance. Each year thereafter, you will be charged an annual support & maintenance fee which can be canceled at any time.

What Do I Receive with My Support & Maintenance Agreement?
A non-expired support & maintenance agreement is required to continue receiving support and updates to PokerTracker. You can cancel the support & maintenance agreement at any time; however, once your agreement expires, you will no longer receive updates unless if you renew your support & maintenance agreement. You can continue to use the last stable release of PokerTracker at the point in time of your support & maintenance agreement expiring. E.g. If your support & maintenance agreement expires on July 11, 2023, and the current stable version is 4.18.3 then you can use 4.18.3 forever. However, you will not be able to upgrade to 4.18.4 or 4.19 without renewing your support & maintenance agreement.

Over the years, you (our customers) have provided us with a tremendous amount of feedback and support that we are so grateful for. We would not be the company that we are nor be able to offer the premium products that we do without your support and feedback! While our pricing model is changing, we believe that we have struck a good balance for our customers and our business which will allow us to continue to improve PokerTracker in the years to come.
