Maybe you changed the country on the wrong place.
Make sure you change it not in "Date and Time" (don't know if it is named right, I have only the German Windows Version).
You have to change it from France to English(USA) in "region and language"!

Had the same problem. Changed locale to English (United States) and restarted PT4. Works fine now. Remember that you have to restart PT4 if you have it on while changing locale settings.

edit: (Had Finnish locale).

Same problem here with Russian location in Windows 7. Changing to English makes the trick.

Thanks for the confirmation.
The development team are working on a fix for the Regional Settings issue now and I'm told there should be another release later today with a fix for this. In the meantime, changing Regional Settings to English should get things working OK.

the same problem - cannot import no one hand
Hands from pokerstars and partypoker. Language in rooms set to English

Both from from proceed directory of PT3 and "convert from pt3 base" base option also doesnot work

Some testing of other languages has been done, but all of our support staff use English language computers, and this isn't something that comes up often for us. This is exactly the sort of thing we're hoping to get from this initial Beta period - thanks to everyone for bringing it to our attention.

Have you changed the settings as described here?
If so, please compress a few hand history files which you can't import and attach them to a Support ticket. Post the ticket number here so that we can check it out as soon as possible.
Thanks.
