PTO Postgresql Error

Postby shipitkthx » Mon Jan 19, 2009 7:39 pm

I'm running PTO using Wine on Ubuntu 8.04. I have a postgresql server running which works fine outside of Poker Tracker.
When I click Postgresql Database Function I get three error messages:

First - Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Run Time Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Poker Tracker Omaha\pto.exe
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Second - Same Erro
Third - Error #: 1
Unable to connect to PostgreSQL (Port#: 5433) to get the list of databases. The Error was:
212 - SQLSTATE = S1000
Couldn't load libpq library

Can anyone help troubleshoot?

I've never seen this error come from PTO before. Is running with Wine on Ubuntu 8.04 something new for you or did this work in the past and just stopped working today? Does PTO otherwise work normally with PostgreSQL i.e. importing, viewing stats, etc?

I recently switched from Windows to Linux. PTO works fine without PostgreSQL but i datamine and I think i filled up an access database already cuz that DB is giving me errors.

I'm not very experienced with Linux and since using PostgreSQL with PTO was designed for Windows I'm not sure it will work. You can create a new Access database using File > Maintain Database Names then use that for observed hands.
