postgress from scratch

I had to re-install pokertracker because of a pc crash. Luckily I have all my hand histories stored on a back up hard drive. I know after importing everything that I will need postgress because of the huge size. I totally forget how I did this once in the past. Can someone find me the link how to set up postgres with poker tracker please? I can't find it. Also, I will need to know what version of postgres to find.

I would recommend installing PostgreSQL and converting an empty Access db to PostgreSQL first and then reimport all your hands into that new db, it would save a big step.
