Error when exporting hands to file...

I'm trying to export all 441,000 hands to file so I can import them into PT3...

Using PT2, I exported the hands to file, then a box popped up that said the hands were exported, but with errors. The text file then shows tons and tons of lines like these:

Unable to get hand history for game #97935
Unable to get hand history for game #97936
Unable to get hand history for game #97937
Unable to get hand history for game #97938
Unable to get hand history for game #97939 etc......

There are thousands of lines like that. Does that mean there are a lot of hands that won't be imported into PT3? Please help.... thanks.

It means those hands aren't in the hand history database file either because they are observed hands and you had the option set to not save the text of the hand histories for observed hands or because you copied your db file from one computer to another and didn't copy the hand history db as well. Either way, those hands will not be able to be exported because PT2 can't find them.

I copied my db from an old computer... What file should I look for? I still have access to it so I might be able to find it.

If you find it, copy it to this computer and PUT IT IN A DIFFERENT FOLDER than your other db files so you don't overwrite the current file. Then go to the Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options window, click the Hand History DB's tab and then add an entry on this window that points to this file you just copied over.
