Prima trouble

Postby MR_Jimmy » Sat Apr 05, 2008 4:42 pm

I just bought a laptop but cant get Pt to work =( It works at my regular computer, but i cant figuerd what is wrong on my laptop. I get this messege:

Database Error - Unable to connect to the database file - C:\Microgaming\Poker\UnibetpokerMPP\GameHistory040508210317.dat.

999 - SQLSTATE = IM002
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Datakällan hittades inte och ingen standarddrivrutin är angiven

I play at Unibet, I have the installed SQL, downloaded the newest patch to PT, and tryed to rename my gamehistory.dat file, without any succes. What can be wrong?

Make sure you have this driver installed:
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1376

Then try this patch:

Are you using Vista?? If so, you need to be running PT as administrator every time as detailed at the top of the download page...

My Microgaming software (Pokerhost) is suddenly (since this morning) storing handhistories in a file next to GameHistory.day called GameHistory.dat-journal, which Pokertracker 2 cannot read, nor can PaHud.

What to do? Please advise

I believe that file is normal but there should also be a corresponding GameHistory.dat file in the same folder. I haven't had any other Prima users report this issue.

well I have the same problem!! I always have this message : Database Error - Unable to connect to the database file - C:\Microgaming\Poker\tellpokerMPP\GameHistory041108003825.dat.

999 - SQLSTATE = IM002
[Microsoft][Gestionnaire de pilotes ODBC] Source de données introuvable et nom de pilote non spécifié
the sentence in french means "the database can t be found and the name of the driver is not specified"
I have downloaded the driver u have posted and I run PT as administrator since I use Vista too but I still have the same problem!
can u help me please fix it?
thanks

Are you using Windows Vista? If so, follow the directions provided at the top of the download page for how you should be using 'run as administrator' to start Poker Tracker every time:
