I have a 600x800 standard width screen, an old-fashioned crt. Will pahud show sufficient detail when I am playing? Do I need a second screen?

That is sufficient while you are playing as most tables are 800x600 (or resizeable to be smaller). I do not believe the PokerAce Hud layout manager will fit on your monitor though. Are you unable to increase the resolution at all?
