Performance Levels

In PT3 and under the configuire hud > hud options tab there is a performance section. Performance level is set at default. What do Level 1,2,3 do, how will they help me and generally what do they mean?

They change the way internal displays of the HUD are functioning. You shouldn't ever need to change them at this point in time.
