3bet still counts as call preflop raise

Version: Beta 12

Josh, quick question. Is the 3bet counts as call preflop raise problem fixed in this version? I'm not sure if that falls under the "stealing" in the changelog.

Thanks for the update and please take your time and don't let people rush you into releases you don't want to release yet.

To quote myself, I just set a filter to only show Calls made preflop. A hand showed up where some guy opened, I 3bet the guy and he folded. No one called any of the raises, still the hand showed up with the call preflop raise filter on.

So it still counts 3bets as calls preflop. Please take a closer look at this. Thanks in advance!

BTW: I did a complete re-import of my exported DB.

This is on my list of bugs to fix, I haven't forgot.

Stat/Filter: Call PFR no longer counting raises

Sadly, this isn't fixed yet in beta13, while the changelog says it should. I've set my filters to only show 50NL hands and as action "call preflop".
Still this hand appears for example:

Dealt to damanrico [Ad Ac]
ClawRSC folds
Illusional raises to $1.75
J Jay1231 folds
Callingboy has 15 seconds left to act
Callingboy folds
damanrico raises to $6
Illusional folds
Uncalled bet of $4.25 returned to damanrico
damanrico mucks
damanrico wins the pot ($3.75)
Illusional adds $1.35

As you can see there wasn't any call preflop. Please take another look at this problem.

Thanks in advance.

BTW, this time I haven't re-imported all hands (the last time I did that was right after I installed beta12), but the changelog doesn't show this with an import note, so I don't think I need to re-import, right?

I guess this is the sort of thing that *could* need an import - if you want to try this, create a new clean DB and import just that hand..

I wish I could, but I'm still using the trial. And my DB is 2+ mil hands atm, so I'm not the biggest fan of re-importing as you can imagine. If it's needed I obviously will re-import.

You could use Postgres Admin to dump your database. Then you could purge it and reimport one hand as a test.

It would still take a little way to reimport a 2 million hand database, but not nearly as long as it would take to parse all the files.

Yes, I can imagine.
Sorry, I can't give you a conclusive answer, but if you want to PM me a hand which is incorrectly reported I'll test it for you..

Sorry to say that this hand still shows as a call PFR when imported into a new DB in Beta 13.
I wonder if it is because the extra money is returned..
(Obviously still a bug..)

Do you have any other hands which show up under this filter where you 3-bet and got called?

Yes, I do. For example:

Seat 2: rocco78 (0)
rocco78 posts the small blind of $0.25
damanrico posts the big blind of $0.50
The button is in seat #2
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to damanrico [Ah Ac]

damanrico raises to $4.50
rocco78 calls $3
*** FLOP *** [2s 8h 7h]

rocco78 raises to $26.40, and is all in
damanrico calls $19.40
rocco78 shows [Kc 8c]
damanrico shows [Ah Ac]
*** TURN *** [2s 8h 7h] [4s]
*** RIVER *** [2s 8h 7h 4s] [2d]
rocco78 shows two pair, Eights and Twos

Seat 2: rocco78 (small blind) showed [Kc 8c] and lost with two pair, Eights and Twos

I also have a hand where a 4bet takes places, which does get called preflop, and shows as call preflop raise. I'm not sure what you guys think, if it should only show as call 4bet preflop, or also as call preflop raise.

Full Tilt Poker Game #6275055342: Table Prince (heads up) - $0.25/$0.50 - No Limit Hold'em - 17:54:55 ET - 2008/05/03
