I don't have any personal experience of either of those systems, but hopefully someone who does will be able to make a suggestion.

I just tried parallels. But it’s not really nice. So I will buy a new PC. It will not be a labtop but a desktop PC just for Pokertracker. So your recommendations would be very welcome.
I have planned a
— CoreTM i7-4771
— Solid State Drive 2,5 Zoll SATA 840 Pro series 2,5" 256 GB

How much RAM do you recommend? As I said I am using Notetracker a lot and I have millions of hands.

Someone told me that if one needs a lot of CPU power the graphic cards can do this job even better but the software has to support that. Does pokertracker do that?

Thanks a lot for your always helpful and quick answers.

Graphics is not a significant factor in using PokerTracker as the display doesn't update very often (relatively speaking). Get as much RAM as you can afford - this will help your system run better in general as well has helping PokerTracker.

I was going for 8 GB RAM. Do you think 16 or even 32 will make a difference for PT? I don’t need the PC for anything else.

It's hard to say how much of a noticeable difference it would make, but if you can afford it I would go for 16.
