Questions about HUD stats setup

In advance, thanks for the help guys.

Ok in a Deuces cracked video they have a stat that is just called "Steal". They mention that it is attempted steals from the button preflop, which stat is this in PT3?

Can you give me a link to a thread that describes how all of these individual stats are calculated. ty.

I'm not familiar with the deucescracked video but a steal is an open raise from cut-off, button or small blind. In PokerTracker3 this would be "Att to Steal".

So for VP$IP, if I raise preflop and get 3bet and I 4bet, does that count twice toward my VP$IP %?

No - each hand only counts once. You either VP$IP in a hand or you don't.
