Re: Opponent has many games but no notes

You can see the definitions/filters for all NoteTracker notes on the "Edit" tab in "Tools -> NoteTracker". Typically they describe what actions a player took rather than "strategic errors" which would be difficult to define. Also the notes require that villains holecard...

Re: Configure PostgreSQL Server

If you're using any security software (such as antivirus, firewall), please make sure to follow the instructions given in the Security Software Configuration Guide . Sometimes setting exceptions and disabling security software does not stop them for interfering with PostgreSQL so you can rule that o...

Re: Problem with HUD PartyPoker.com

While you are seeing player names at the tables the player names in the hand history files used by PokerTracker 4 have been anonymised by partypoker. This means when a new villain joins the table they will be assigned the same name in the hand histories as the villain who was in the seat previously....

Re: PT4 unable to read PostgreSQL database

Click your Windows Start button then type the following command:

services.msc

and click on it when it appears. Do you see both PostgreSQL services in the list or is only one displayed? If so which one?

The 32bit version seems to be where your data is so presumably that was the service that was listed in services i.e. it has an x86 in the service name? Next delete the postmaster.pid file in your C:\Prog...

Re: notetracker variable

You can do that by grouping your NoteTracker filters with an "OR" modifier.

Re: Processed folders are empty

In that screenshot you are in the top level of the processed directory so the hands wont be displayed there. The hands are organised by site/date so you would need to go into the relevant subfolders to view the hands.

Re: PT4 and Bitdefender

Try running a full system scan to check for infections on your computer and if that is OK temporarily uninstall your security software, reboot and try starting PokerTracker 4 again (don't visit web sites, download other files or emails until you have reinstalled your security software).

Re: Pop-up HUD Stats stopped showing values

There is a PostgreSQL restriction on the number of columns in a table so you will need to restrict the number of custom columns which are cached to ~1600. The custom cache in PokerTracker 4 is separate from the built in cache - you don't get the full 1600 columns as we need identifiers but you get p...
