Re: Tabletracker?

I understand that this will be a monthly subscription service later on but in the mean time, if I register will I be able to use it along with my registered copy of pt3? One of the developers answered this in a thread somewhere, but basically: 1) Everyone gets one month for free when they register....

Re: Converting to PT3

If I import old files, will PT recognise all of the various formats used by Poker Stars and Party Poker? In my experience the answer is yes. However I think a bug crept into Beta 13 when importing certain Party Poker files that contain split pots. You might want to do all of your importing under Bu...

Re: HH folders

I run PT2 and PT3 at the same time. I personally just let PT2 move the processed files and uncheck the "Move Processed Files" box in PT3. If you do this make sure you stop PT3's import before you stop PT2's import or it won't move the files.

Re: Performance Measurement

The bulk of the no limit hands (10,284) are at $0.5 game level. You can calculate your confidence interval with 10,000 hands. It will basically give you a number that attempts to guess your win rate. Of course I can't find a good link that discusses this anymore, but if you PM me an email address I...

Re: ideal computer ??

(one example, booting from a RAID setup isn't as straightforward as a normal setup - same goes for installing the OS). One exception is Windows Vista. Setup is identical on a RAID partition and a single hard drive. I would assume the same for any modern Linux distro. (That is, I would assume that i...

Re: complete rip off

Gee let me spell this out for you, since you are a complete and utter idiot Tarix. Buy a better computer. I've had PT3 completely lock up on me before. Everything else including the poker clients keep running just fine. PT3 does not eat that much memory and the HUD takes up almost nothing. It sound...

PokerTracker cannot possibly cause you to lose money. If you lose money playing online poker that is lack of luck or lack of skill.

Re: ideal computer ??

I would avoid Vista. As a matter of fact I've decided that I will never run Vista on any system I own (and am in the process of attempting to abandon MS altogether). Haha, and then there are people like me who absolutely love it. :) (I do of course have a gentoo x64 vm machine though. Can't be all ...

Re: HUD question?

Oh ok, cool thanks. so long as i am seeing full stats for the other players thats the main thing. difficult to tell though at the moment as I am a new user and therefore its highly unlikely i have come across the same player twice yet! The idea is that your stats are your table image. It helps you ...

Re: ongame??

Before more HUD support there should be a generic per-game application similar to the old "Game Time" window of PT2.

Otherwise there is always going to be a huge lag to support any site because hacking into the poker client to display the hud can be non-trivial.
