Re: Converting PT2 database

It is very frustrating to say the least. I tried converting it in PT2 to PostgreSQL, but PT2 doesn't seem to be able to do that either. This is really annoying. The current PT3 installer does not setup postgres correctly for PT2. If you want to go the postgres route, which is great for PT2 as well,...

Re: When will AP be supported?

lol @ people who don't like soft games with lots of money? ;) (Said with lots of love of course.)

If their bonuses and software were a tad better I would still play at UB and AP. I would definitely stay away from the nosebleed stakes though.

Is this an acceptable attitude in America these days? Grow up. You aren't a child anymore so stop acting like one.

Re: considering purchase

Wow their e-feelings are hurt, guess what I threw away $80 on this software which was fradulently released as 'ready'. Software that works great for me and many others. Others that are too busy playing poker to post on this forum. I also have lost a good deal on the tables trying futilely to get th...

Re: beta vs beta 13

If you could enable logging and submit those logs along with a support ticket using the support system it would help the developers out a lot. The more information the better it seems.

Re: Performance Measurement

I'm really after a few measurements which will help me assess whether I'm improving or not. I know nothing about tournament play so I'm afraid I'm going to have to ignore that. A good place for these kind of questions are the 2+2 Publishing forums. They can help you figure out how to measure...

Re: When will AP be supported?

I have many problems with PT2 and big databases so I really need PT3 at AP. Are you using postgres with PT2? Are you trying to run excessively large databases on insufficient hardware? If you are having problems with big databases you will probably have MORE problems with PT3. It's databases are MU...

Re: ideal computer ??

There are some points I'd like to expand on. bugsbunny, you suggest using a linux system for the database. Do you have any reasons for this other than anecdotal evidence that linux is better for DBs? When I was young and silly I used to have an unhealthy love for Linux. I've now replaced it with an...

Re: ideal computer ??

as has been said before; 2 spindles are better than one regardless Only if they are setup correctly. Where correctly is defined by "it depends on your setup". :D His last sentence specifically says: i dont know much about pc´s and you answer with a jargon heavy two liner? Heiko, your seco...
